Having completed dozens of bridge projects, Ryan-Biggs offers a complete range of structural design services for the replacement, repair, and restoration of bridges.
We have experience managing and working on Phase I-VI projects for NYSDOT and for various towns and counties. These projects require coordination with many agencies including adjoining counties, the local town governments, local citizens’ groups, SHPO, NYSDEC, US Department of the Interior, and a number of utility companies.
Ryan-Biggs also has considerable experience with restoration projects involving historic bridges. We have performed rehabilitation projects on wrought iron trusses, timber covered bridges, and arches, both concrete and masonry. Our bridge project experience includes:
- Hadley "Bow" Bridge
- Buskirk's Covered Bridge
- Pawling Avenue Bridge
- Bryant’s Bridge over Fish Creek
- Rensselaer Rail Station Passarelle
- Stuyvesant Falls Bridge
- Jim's Walk at Constitution Marsh Sanctuary
