Ryan-Biggs Testing Manager Certified as Structural Masonry Special Inspector

Ryan-Biggs Associates, P.C., a consulting firm specializing in structural engineering in Troy, NY, announced today, the certification of Donald F. Trojak Jr., as Structural Masonry Special Inspector by the International Code Council (ICC).

Structural Masonry Special Inspectors identify and check key quality assurance items pertaining to masonry elements on the jobsite.  Becoming ICC certified in a professional category represents a significant accomplishment which offers national recognition and proof of the knowledge, technical expertise, and commitment to protecting public safety and welfare.  This two-part examination is offered nationally and is sponsored by the International Code Council and the Masonry Society.

Don is an Associate and Testing Manager at Ryan-Biggs. He joined the firm in 1999.  He has been involved in various restoration and nondestructive testing projects, including testing at Cornell University (Ithaca, NY), the New York State Education Building (Albany, NY), and the Cathedral of All Saints (Albany, NY).
