Ryan-Biggs Promotes Three

Ryan-Biggs Associates, P.C., announced today the promotions of Matt Yerkey, P.E., Christopher N. Latreille, P.E., and Ross M. Shepherd.
Matt Yerkey has been promoted to Senior Associate. With the firm since 1998, Matt manages many of the firm's bridge and contractor service projects. Matt earned his Bachelor's degree from West Virginia University. He is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Association for Bridge Construction and Design in which he serves as Program Committee Chair. He was named Young Engineer of the Year by the Capital District Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers in 2009. Matt is a Program Evaluator for the Practicing Institute of Engineering and currently serves as Chairman for the 2013 Capital District Celebration of Engineers Week. Matt is professionally licensed in New York, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and West Virginia. His structural design experience includes the reconstruction of four bridges in Columbia County, NY; Gilboa Dam Excavation Protection System; and the structural lifting of various bridges on I-787, I-87, I-88, and I-90. He works in the Clifton Park office.
Christopher Latreille has been promoted to Senior Associate. With the firm since 2001, he manages many of the firm's structural design projects in the educational and healthcare markets. Chris earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Institute of Steel Construction, and The Masonry Society. He currently serves as President of the Central New York Chapter of the American Concrete Institute. Chris provided the structural design of the Peggy Ryan Williams Center at Ithaca College; the rehabilitation of four dormitories at SUNY Oneonta; and the new Educational Opportunity Center at the University at Buffalo. He is currently designing the Natural Science Building on the Broome Community College campus. He holds Professional Engineering licenses in New York and Wisconsin. He works in the Skaneateles Falls office.
Ross Shepherd has been promoted to REVIT Designer. With the firm since 1992, Ross is an Associate and provides 3-D modeling for structural design projects in REVIT software, provides CAD drafting, and also serves as the firm's IT Manager. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and is a member of the National Building Information Modeling for Masonry Initiative (BIM-M). He works in the Skaneateles Falls office.
