WAMC Performance Studio

Albany, NY

Ryan-Biggs performed a building evaluation of a vacant bank building constructed in 1920 on behalf of a local public radio station. No documents on the existing construction were available. The firm worked with a Contractor to do selective removals to document existing construction and load rate the existing floor and roof. The original teller area of the bank was converted into an intimate performance space with seating for 100. A control booth mezzanine was inserted so that performances could be broadcast live by linking to the main studio across the street.
